Baseball Recap: Archbishop Mitty Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Archbishop Mitty was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 9-1 to the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-2 defeat back in April.

Archbishop Mitty saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Salter, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Archbishop Mitty's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-8-2.

As of now, neither Archbishop Mitty nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
