Baseball Recap: Grace Academy Knights vs. Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers
Grace Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers 12-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-1 back in March.
Connor Earley and Jaeden Peterson were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Earley tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Meanwhile, Peterson pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in seven consecutive appearances. At the plate, Earley went 1-for-3 with one run and one double, while Peterson went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Peterson has posted since back in April of 2024.
