Baseball Recap: Christchurch School Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hampton Roads Academy on Wednesday, Christchurch School came back down to earth. The Seahorses fell 7-3 to the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers on Friday. The Seahorses have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Christchurch School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dallas Davis, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Christchurch School's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Isle of Wight Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Christchurch School will challenge Grace Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Kings will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Seahorses surely won't give up without a fight. As for Isle of Wight Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Arcadia at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Firebirds will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
