Football Recap: White River's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Tiospa Zina last Friday, White River came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the McLaughlin Mustangs by a score of 24-22 on Thursday. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, White River fell to 2-1. As for McLaughlin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. White River is set to challenge their familiar foe Flandreau Indian at 2:00 p.m. on the 20th. Meanwhile, McLaughlin will take on rival Marty Indian on Thursday.
