Basketball Recap: Milford Takes a Loss

Milford was the 60-38 winner over Brighton when they last played one another back in February of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Milford Mavericks fell 51-42 to the Brighton Bulldogs on Friday.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Brighton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brighton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Catholic Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brighton will be up against Catholic Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
