Baseball Recap: Malden Takes a Loss

If Malden was feeling good fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Everett on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Tornados fell just short of the Revere Patriots by a score of 8-6 on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Malden has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. As for Revere, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Malden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Revere, they will play host again on Monday to welcome Medford, where first pitch is scheduled at 1:00 p.m.
