Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South-Doyle). They blew past the Lenoir City Panthers 11-5 on Tuesday. The Cherokees haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Gabe Jones was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4. He also brought in three RBI, marking his first of the season.
