Bosque is a perfect 10-0 against East Mountain since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Bosque will be strutting in after a victory while East Mountain will be coming in after a loss.
Bosque took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Tse' Yi' Gai.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bosque was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-15.

Sophie Nims was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had three digs and three aces. What's more, she racked up 13 assists, the most she's had since back in September. Allie Erickson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Bosque was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 19 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, East Mountain lost 3-0 to Sandia Prep last Tuesday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-8.
East Mountain has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Bosque, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's matchup: Bosque has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 12.3 aces per game. However, it's not like East Mountain struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Bosque was able to grind out a solid victory over East Mountain in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
