Basketball Recap: Pathway Christian Piles Up the Points Against Tournament Opponent

After losing to Tournament Opponent the last time they met, Pathway Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pathway Christian Panthers really took it to Tournament Opponent for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-27 win. That looming 65-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pathway Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryker Miller, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points along with five boards and three steals. Miller has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Denver Nelson, who went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Pathway Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Pathway Christian has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.
