The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs will head out on the road to take on the Saint Francis Lancers at 6:00 p.m. Saint Francis took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Archbishop Mitty, who comes in off a win.

Archbishop Mitty took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-38 win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory.

Meanwhile, Saint Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 55-43 to Junipero Serra. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Padres are ranked 80th).

Saint Francis' loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Archbishop Mitty, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

Archbishop Mitty was able to grind out a solid win over Saint Francis when the teams last played back in January, winning 61-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Archbishop Mitty since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
