Basketball Recap: Kemmerer Comes Up Short

Kemmerer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-26 heartbreaker at the hands of the Big Piney Punchers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rangers have suffered against the Punchers since January 9, 2021.

Kemmerer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Big Piney, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-7.

Kemmerer will square off against Manila at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Big Piney has already played their next contest (against Farson-Eden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
