Baseball Recap: Treasure Coast's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

There's no place like home for Treasure Coast, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Palm Beach Gardens Gators on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Anthony Musso looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Thomas Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run. Those triples marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton McMichael, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Treasure Coast kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Treasure Coast now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Palm Beach Gardens, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6.
