Kenosha Tremper dropped their record down to 13-4-1 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Franklin Sabers, falling 15-5. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Sabers earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

As for Franklin, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games.

For Franklin's part, they let Dominick Walters and Onyu Lee run wild. Walters went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Lee went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those four hits gave Walters a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Firle, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

While Kenosha Tremper had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
