With a playoff win on the line, Mount Vernon rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They beat the Snohomish Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-3. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on 15 straight.

Mount Vernon pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Snohomish, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

As of now, neither Mount Vernon nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
