Basketball Recap: Green Run Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kempsville last Tuesday, Green Run came back down to earth. The Green Run Stallions received a blow on Friday as they fell 61-43 to the Salem Sundevils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sundevils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-43 back in December of 2024.

Green Run's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Green Run does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salem, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-48 loss against Kellam on the 11th.
