St. David has gone 9-1 against Valley Union recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will take on the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (St. David has three straight victories, Valley Union has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, St. David was able to grind out a solid win over Pima, taking the game 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Pima scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Valley Union came up short against Fort Thomas on Friday, falling 3-0.

Valley Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for St. David, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Everything went St. David's way against Valley Union in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as St. David made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
