Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Silver Foxes vs. Chapin Huskies

The Jefferson Silver Foxes will square off against the Chapin Huskies at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Jefferson sitting on three straight victories and Chapin on five.

On Friday, Jefferson made easy work of Burges and carried off a 3-0 win.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Chapin and El Paso meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Huskies had just enough and edged out the Tigers 3-2.

Chapin wouldn't go down easily and took El Paso into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-17, 25-19, 20-25, 15-7.

Chapin's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.
