Soccer Recap: Coronado Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Coronado challenged Harrison on Friday. The Cougars never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Coronado might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Harrison with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emma Hylton (2), Cari Powell (2), Angela Vest, and Ava Friesema.

Coronado has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Harrison, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Coronado will take on Adams City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Adams City will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Coronado surely won't give up without a fight. Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
