Basketball Recap: Abingdon Takes a Loss

Abingdon lost against Gate City last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Abingdon Falcons fell 54-43 to the Gate City Blue Devils.

Abingdon now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Gate City, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-11.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Abingdon will take on Cave Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gate City, they will challenge Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
