Basketball Recap: East Texas Homeschool Sports' Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

East Texas Homeschool Sports had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 60-53 win over the Cornerstone Family Saints on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Chargers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 892nd in Texas, while the Saints are ranked 280th in Kansas).

East Texas Homeschool Sports' win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Cornerstone Family, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 19-10 record.

East Texas Homeschool Sports does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cornerstone Family, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Smoky Valley Home Educators at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
