Softball Recap: Alleman Takes a Loss

Alleman fell victim to Sterling and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Golden Warriors, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Pioneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Alleman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Sterling, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Coming up, Alleman will square off against Peoria Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sterling, they will head out to face off against Rock Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Golden Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
