Baseball Recap: Lenape Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cherry Hill East on Thursday, Lenape came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 27, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Lenape's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bishop Eustace Prep, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3-1.

Coincidentally, Lenape and Bishop Eustace Prep will both be playing Shawnee the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Renegades at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, while the Crusaders will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
