            Basketball Preview: Platteview Trojans vs. Gretna Dragons        
        
		
        
        
            The Platteview Trojans will challenge the Gretna Dragons at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Last Tuesday, Platteview didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Nebraska City, but they still walked away with a  40-34 victory.
Platteview found their leader in sophomore  Maddy Stukenholtz, who  posted 18  points and four  steals. Stukenholtz is trending in the right direction considering she's  improved her point production for three straight games.  Kady Vanosdall was another key player,  putting up eight points.
 Platteview  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in eight consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Gretna didn't have too much trouble with Hastings  on Thursday as they won  48-31.
 Gretna's win came from a few key players Platteview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Maggie Miller, who  earned 12  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ava Mcartor, who  put up nine points.
 Gretna's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Platteview, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
 Platteview didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against Gretna  in their previous matchup  back in January of 2019, but they still walked away with  a  44-38 win.
