Baseball Recap: Natchez Comes Up Short

Natchez lost against Wesson two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Natchez came up short against Wesson, falling 17-4. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Natchez saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JaCorrian Davis, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave Davis a new career-high. Mason Bouldin was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Natchez's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Wesson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Natchez wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 defeat against North Pike on the 21st. As for Wesson, they will square off against South Pike at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
