Recap: Park Hill Trojans vs. Belton Pirates
The Park Hill Trojans won the last time they faced the Belton Pirates, and things went their way on Thursday too. Park Hill snuck past Belton with a 53-47 victory.
Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Campbell, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Malik Minton was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Park Hill's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Belton, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Park Hill will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. As for Belton, they will head out on the road to face off against Platte County at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
