Volleyball Recap: Fortuna Takes a Loss

Fortuna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Yreka Miners. The Huskies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Miners from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Fortuna's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Yreka, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Fortuna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Etna on the 13th. As for Yreka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Anderson on the 13th.
