Baseball Game Preview: Fallston Cougars vs. River Hill Hawks

The Fallston Cougars will square off against the River Hill Hawks at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Fallston's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Harford Tech as Fallston made off with a 12-0 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Fallston got a big performance out of Joey Potler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Landon Bell was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Fallston always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harford Tech only posted an OBP of .200.

Meanwhile, River Hill gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Atholton.
