Having struggled with 13 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Concord turned things around against South Rowan on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Raiders. Williams is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Morgan Gadd made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three).
