Volleyball Recap: Saugus Has No Trouble Against Valencia

Saugus's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Valencia Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. The Centurions not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 27th.

While Saugus won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25, 25-21.

Saugus now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Valencia, they moved to 16-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Saugus will square off against rival West Ranch at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Valencia is set to take on their familiar foe Castaic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
