Baseball Recap: Cleveland Hill Takes a Loss

Cleveland Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Eden Raiders, falling 14-1. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 24-2 to the Raiders when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cleveland Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tevin Kreuger, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That run marked the first that Kreuger has scored this season.

Cleveland Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Eden, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

While Cleveland Hill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
