Soccer Recap: Sibley-Ocheyedan Takes a Loss

Sibley-Ocheyedan entered their match against Sioux Center on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Generals came up short against the Warriors, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Sibley-Ocheyedan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Sioux Center are ranked 45th).

Sibley-Ocheyedan's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Sioux Center, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3-1.

Coming up, Sibley-Ocheyedan is taking a road trip to square off against MOC-Floyd Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sioux Center, they will face off against Unity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
