Mathews won the last time they faced Harding and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Skippers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Butchino has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played. Jana Vale was another key player, getting 11 digs, ten kills, and three aces.

Mathews' win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Harding, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Mathews has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against McKinley on the 8th. As for Harding, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Andrews Osborne Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
