McMahon scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Ridgefield, 22-14. At the time, the Tigers were ranked 23rd in the state, while the Senators were 68th.

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Stamford, who took down 59th ranked Stamford, 7-6.

Sam Gravitte was the best wideout in Fairfield County this week as Ridgefield lost to McMahon. Gravitte racked up four receptions for 91 yards. Andrew Chuma helped Ridgefield's passing attack out by catching five balls for 83 yards.

Henry Baldwin put up the best numbers through the air as Darien fell to Staples. He finished with 23 completions for 356 yards and three touchdowns. Baldwin's favorite target this week was Peter Gesualdi, who caught four passes for 91 yards.

Teddy Bossidy was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 103 yards on 11 carries as New Canaan lost to the Senators. Nick Cascione also contributed to the rushing game with 64 yards on the ground.

Thanks to the talents of Baldwin and Christian Bognar the Blue Wave have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Baldwin leads the league in passing with 1451 yards, while Bognar has rushed for 821 yards this season. The Tigers' Gravitte leads the league in receiving yards with 537 on 28 catches.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Trinity Catholic takes on Darien. The Crusaders are currently in first, while Rob Trifone's team is in ninth.

St. Joseph was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in Fairfield County. Earlier in the week, the Cadets triumphed over Warde 49-6.
