Baseball Recap: Hagerty Picks Up Ninth Straight Win on the Road

It's playoff time, and Hagerty had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Winter Park Wildcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

M. Murray Jr. made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. Murray Jr. was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

In other batting news, R. Foscolo was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Hagerty's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-4-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Winter Park, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-5.

Hagerty will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
