Softball Recap: Terrell Comes Up Short

Terrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 28-4 to the Ennis Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 back in March.

Terrell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vivian Hernandez, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Terrell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Ennis, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Terrell will challenge rival Midlothian Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ennis is set to square off against their familiar foe Red Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
