Softball Recap: Waseca Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Ulm, Waseca was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers by a score of 8-3.

Waseca's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3-1. As for New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Waseca didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-0 loss against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] on the 15th. As for New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, they will head out to take on Bethlehem Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
