Soccer Preview: Mitchell Hunts for Offense After a Cold Stretch

Mitchell has been away from home for two games now, but on Wednesday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. Mitchell's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Mitchell came up short against White River Valley on Thursday, falling 12-1. Mitchell were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 10-1.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Lighthouse Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They fell 2-0 to Edgewood.

Mitchell has now lost 11 of their last 14 games on the road. That leaves them at a 1-13-1 record this season. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1.
