Baseball Game Preview: Everman Bulldogs vs. Joshua Owls

For the second straight game, Everman will face off against Joshua. The Bulldogs will square off against the Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Everman 3.8, Joshua 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Everman's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Joshua hitters got past them. The Bulldogs came up short against the Owls on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Owls: they've now lost nine in a row.

Joshua is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Everman, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
