Osborn had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 0-4 to make it six. They fell 9-6 to the King Crusaders. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked the Knights' highest-scoring game to date.

Harmonie Harris was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs. Chamyra Adams was another key player, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

As for King, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games.

On King's side, Grayce Green was excellent, getting on base in two of her five plate appearances with three runs. Another player making a difference was Janelle Scott, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: King beat Osborn by a score of 12-8 later that day.
