Basketball Game Preview: Rector Cougars vs. Corning Bobcats

Rector is 2-7 against Corning since November of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Rector Cougars challenge the Corning Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rector is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 84-65 win over Cross County on Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Corning, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They managed a 52-47 victory over Marmaduke on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Corning's record now sits at 4-7. As for Rector, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Rector came up short against Corning in their previous meeting back in February, falling 53-46. Can Rector avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
