            Volleyball Recap: Vermilion Sailors vs. Edison Chargers        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Vermilion, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Edison Chargers  on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Sailors: when they faced off against the Chargers  on September 4th, they had to take a  3-1  defeat.
 Vermilion was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-22, 15-25, 25-20,  25-10.

 Haley Stepp had an outrageously good game as she  had 23  digs and two  aces. That's the most  digs  she has posted  over her last eight  contests.
 They weren't the only good servers: Vermilion  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. They are 6-3 when  they serve at least ten aces.
 Loss or not, Edison got some senior leadership from  Stella Brown and  Paige McFadden.  Brown  had 16  digs, while  McFadden  had ten  assists and nine  digs. Brown has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
Vermilion moved to 6-12 with that  win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Edison, their defeat  ended  a  three-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 8-10.
 Vermilion has already played their next match,  a  3-1  victory against Margaretta on the 2nd. As for Edison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Huron on the 2nd.
