Baseball Recap: Southeastern Comes Up Short

Southeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Zane Trace Pioneers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Pioneers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Zane Trace, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Southeastern will head out on the road to square off against McClain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Zane Trace, they will host Washington at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
