Volleyball Recap: Western/Seymour Falls to Quincy Notre Dame in First Game of Season

Western/Seymour had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders on Thursday.

Western/Seymour may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 21 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Quincy Notre Dame is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Western/Seymour will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Seymour at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Quincy Notre Dame, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Barry Western on the 6th.
