There's no place like home for Lompoc, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Righetti Warriors by a score of 6-1 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Braves as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jack Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lompoc saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kasch Kubasiewicz, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Lompoc's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Righetti, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Lompoc will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Arroyo Grande at 4:30 p.m. As for Righetti, they are taking a road trip to take on Nipomo at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
