Softball Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

Jordan's last matchup with Alliance Bloomfield could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 25-9 to the Bulls. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Nicole Buenrostro was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Akeelah Page, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Alliance Bloomfield, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Jordan and Alliance Bloomfield will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Bulldogs see the field they'll take on University Pathways Public Service Academy at 3:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Alliance Bloomfield, their break will end when they face CALS Early College at 2:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
