Basketball Recap: Liberty Charter's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

Liberty Charter lost against Murtaugh back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Liberty Charter Patriots took a hard 48-31 fall against the Murtaugh Red Devils. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Liberty Charter's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Murtaugh, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Charter will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nampa Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Liberty Charter is facing Nampa Christian at the right time seeing as Nampa Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Murtaugh will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Grace at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
