Basketball Game Preview: Cottondale Hornets vs. Graceville Tigers

The Cottondale Hornets will head out to square off against the Graceville Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Cottondale is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Cottondale came up short against Blountstown and fell 47-39. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Graceville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 51-47 to Holmes County.

Cottondale's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Graceville, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-9.

Cottondale beat Graceville 60-51 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cottondale since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
