Recap: Lamar Thunder vs. Alamosa Mean Moose
Even though the Lamar Thunder have not done well against the Alamosa Mean Moose recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Lamar came out on top against Alamosa by a score of 41-30. The victory was just business as usual for Lamar, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
Lamar's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Williams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lucas Martinez, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals.
Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Alamosa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Lamar will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Scott at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Alamosa, they will square off against Frontier Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
