Football Game Preview: Hargrave Falcons vs. Livingston Lions + How To Watch

The Hargrave Falcons will square off against the Livingston Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hargrave will be strutting in after a win while Livingston will be coming in after a loss.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Hargrave duked it out with Hardin-Jefferson on Friday. The Falcons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hawks 56-20. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won four games by 36 points or more so far this season.

Nolan Cook continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 140 yards and three TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 204 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes. Another player making a difference was Drayden Bacon, who rushed for 111 yards and one score on only 13 carries.

Meanwhile, Livingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Bridge City, falling 33-13. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hargrave and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Livingston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Hargrave against Livingston in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-22 victory. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
