Baseball Game Preview: Brewster Bears vs. Croton-Harmon Tigers

The Brewster Bears will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Croton-Harmon Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Brewster is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell just short of Walter Panas by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Troy Vazquez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Croton-Harmon didn't have quite enough to beat Nanuet on Tuesday and fell 6-5. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Ryan Kim made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Sam Levine was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
